Like the other Areas of NAFAS, we encourage members who are interested, to become demonstrators, judges, speakers, teachers and where appropriate group training is organised. This gives across the Areas a pool of qualified people, which their affiliated clubs can call upon.
Area Show 2008
Our area holds an Area Competition show every two years. The picture shows two judges from other Areas, undertaking the task of judging one of the classes.
The classes are quite varied, each having it’s own title and requirements.

Members Day
Each year a speaker and a demonstrator are invited by the Area, to give a talk and demonstration to members at a major venue. This is a popular day out, to meet up with other clubs, friends and possibly spend a little money at the tempting sales tables.

Occasionally the Area ventures into theatre and puts on a show, ending up in a fantastic display on stage of large floral arrangements.
