New Forest Show – 27 – 29 July 2010
The weather was extremely hot for the flower arrangers at the New Forest Show but this did not prevent them from creating some excellent designs. Congratulations to the prize winners and all those who exhibited.
Once again the Area was invited to stage the central exhibit at the show. Maureen Green, Jan Meloy and I set to work using a palate of green and white flowers. The flowers were delivered to me by courier in tip top condition from Nursery Fresh, sponsors of the Preview Breakfast Party at our Area Show at Rhinefield House in October. If we could have been given a pound for every photo taken of the flowers and for using it as a backdrop for that special family photo, we would have made a fortune!
We were also permitted to promote the Wessex & Jersey Area to the visitors and distributed many leaflets.
